About Me
Hey, I'm Komyl. My journey took a bit of a scenic route, I started out in medicine before making a sharp turn into the world of computing. I guess I've always been drawn to complex systems, whether it's the human body or a cryptographic algorithm.
I'm fascinated by cryptography and the art of breaking things to find their weaknesses. It’s a passion that extends from software bugs to tinkering with hardware. This curiosity naturally led me to the world of financial markets and cryptocurrencies; I find the tokenomics and the tech behind them to be incredibly compelling puzzles.
Outside of the digital world, I enjoy the strategic depth of chess, the logic of mathematics, and getting lost in research on whatever has captured my curiosity this week.
Travel is a big part of my life; there's a unique thrill in exploring new places. I also have a deep appreciation for art and music. While I don't like putting myself in a box, I suppose "geek" comes pretty close.
At my core, I'm driven by a strong belief in freedom in all its forms, from free speech and open-source software to a decentralized, open internet. Computers and networks have been my playground since I was a kid, especially the intricate dance of the internet and its security.
I often write scripts for fun or for work, build software when inspiration strikes, and contribute to open-source projects that I find cool. This blog is one of my homes on the web, but you can find me in other places too.
